Maui Bird Rescue is a local 501(c)(3) organization who helps injured birds in need of care. Their network compassionately serves most of the Maui county area.

They provided their own logo and I utilized WordPress to create their web page in the simplest, most budget-friendly method possible.

Little Lemon is a fictional restaurant. This page was created as the capstone project for the Meta Front-End Web Developer Certification program offered through Coursera.

I built this dynamic and responsive web application utilizing React. While this project demonstrates my general understanding of creating efficient and reusable UI components, it also highlighted my need for mentorship in understanding the more complicated aspects of complex state management. Another version is in progress that has a failure in its ability to manage state in the online reservation system. Ask me for the GitHub link 🙂

The core visual identity of this version is not my own. While I built the structure of the UI, I utilized design choices that had been provided by the program.

As the Program Director for the Hekili Media Lab at Paia Youth & Cultural Center, I help introduce our youth members to digital media in a variety of applications. I created this page to help our members understand visually the different types of activities available in the Hekili Media Lab and inspire them to develop their creative interests.

This project was built using WordPress to keep it seamless with the existing PYCC website ecosystem, as well as approachable for youth member interaction. All of the visual design elements are my work utilizing Canva for expediency.

This is the Random Quote Generator Web App. I built this as specified by the freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries Certification requirement. It was definitely a challenge in my learning process. I used support from Landon Schlangen via YouTube. Thanks Landon!
